I cannot see how I have ever lived without her. Here is a couple of pics of her, she now weighs 17 1/2 pounds... you couldnt tell she was a preemie at all!! She babbles alot... and I think at times she wants my attention she will mock me coughing, and then when I look over at her she will giggle at me. Shes a really good baby, she sleeps threw the night and goes a good 10 hours at night without eating. Yaaa for sleep. Shes trying to cut some teeth, the doctor said she is getting all 4 at once, poor baby, she fusses at times but even tho she is hurting she still manages to smile. Shes a people person, when we are out and about she will smile big at everyone that walks by, those people cannot resist to talk to her, shes just a really happy sweet baby and we are so lucky to have her. I will post more later... hopefully she will start to crawl soon and I will try to get it on video. Bye for now. Here is my 12 week ultrasound picture, I will keep you updated on the next ultrasound. I tested the first time on May 18th and got a faint BFP tested everyday and they started getting darker and darker. Confirmed the pregnancy at the doctors on Friday the 22nd. OMG We are finally having a baby, I cannot beleive it! My due date is around January 31st give or take, and I have been babying myself ever since I found out. It took us 4 rounds of artificial insemination and now I can say that Im going to be a mommy. Thanks so much for reading and god bless you all, also for all the women out there still trying to get pregnant, whatever you do ..... DO NOT GIVE UP, it will work just try and try again. ((((HUGS))) TaKE Care everyone!candihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16817044740383255450noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4596396557178808458.post-47292812160872181812009-05-15T12:52:00.000-07:002009-05-15T12:58:17.063-07:00Not much going onwell I am 7 dast past my iui (artificial insemination) and I have the usuall symptoms since last time I had this done, it unfortunate that all the fertility meds mimic being pregnant so who knows if its pregnant symptoms or medicine side effects. I do still feel positive. This time we had a different room , and different person doing the insemination, hopefully this will be our baby!! Im keeping my fingers crossed. My health is still staying good as well, no respitory problems since last October thank goodness, I have another cf appointment next tuesday, I am suppose to take a pregnancy test on Friday...too bad I couldnt take it before going to cf doctor, that would be great to let my lung doc know that we are finally pregnant after almost two years of trying and 7 months going to reproductive doctor. So hopefully the next time that I will post , it will be a BFP!!! Type at you all later.... God Bless you!! I really thought that this was my time but I guess it wasnt. We are doing another iui this friday, I know im crazy to put myself into this position again but I think that having a baby is soo worth the pain of waiting to find out if it takes or not. The past iui's I wasnt very positive, I WILL SAY THAT... tHIS time, I feel deep down that its going to work, I have not had any negative thoughts this month, we also have 4 mature follicles so hoping that one of those babies will fertilize. I feel very relaxed this month. Thank you all that has shown a great support in me, its nice to know that I a have angels up above as well watching over me.. another note.... The cf walk went nicely this last weekend, the rain moved out for us yaaaa I thought we were going to get soaked... Our group the Miracle Angels raised about 800 dollors woo hoooo, I was hoping for more but we only had a month to get our donations, hopefully next year we can get a head start! Thanks to Ronnie Sharpe... another cfer... He was so sweet and helped me with my online letters....Thanks again Ronnie...((((hugs))) God bless you alll..... I know that you all dont know me but I am needing all the help that I can get, Im not having the greatest luck with donations, even if it is only 5.00 anything would help. Cystic fibrosis is a devastating genetic disease that affects children and young adults. Advances continue to be made in finding a cure, but your help is needed now - more than ever - to help keep up the momentum of this life-saving research. Too many young lives depend on this vital research to let it go unfunded! If you go to www.cff.org/greatstrides click on find a walker and then put in my name candi lutjen, you can donate there on line... Thanks so much in advance, hope you all have a blessed day! :) Remember that 91 percent of every dollor goes towards the foundation. And anything that you are able to give can help .candihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16817044740383255450noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4596396557178808458.post-888735930685378192009-04-13T10:45:00.000-07:002009-04-13T10:49:44.021-07:005dp IUIWell my temperatures have been staying higher every morning 98.3 and going up since Thursday morning, iui day. I had a really weird dream the other night, my grandma which I call my guardian angel passed away about 3 1/2yrs ago, well she came to me in my dream, never had this happen before, she just came towards me and held out her arms to hug me, I told her that I loved her and missed her, she said I have to go now. Maybe a sign???? maybe she came to help me, I asked her if she could please try and heal me of this infertilty, Only God knows. The two week wait will start tommorow, Im so excited but its going to be a long two weeks. Take care everyone!! Baby dust to you all that are trying. I will go in on Tuesday for a scan of my ovaries to see how they look and schedule iui probally for wednesday or thursday.... yaaa keep your fingers crossed, I really hope that it works this time... I will keep you posted.candihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16817044740383255450noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4596396557178808458.post-90203707345537378622009-03-23T11:58:00.000-07:002009-03-23T12:07:50.174-07:00skipping iui again this monthWell, I found out that I had a cyst on my left ovary so the doctor doesnt want to stimulate my ovaries this month, said it could cause alot of pain due to the cyst.. I told him I dont mind the pain... plzzz let me be in pain, anything to get pregnant, well that didnt work at all in my favor. So they are puting me on birth control pills for two weeks to guarantee that the cyst will go away. They said that we could do the next iui right after easter.... GEEESHHH What else could go wrong. This is our 4th month now that we had to put off iui, the last one we did was back in november. Maybe this is a sign that my time is now here for me to finally conceive... Lets hope next month will be the month. This will be our last try for iui for now, our next step would be to save for ivf, which is almost impossible to save in a timely manner, I just want to get pregnant while my health is still doing pretty well, And as for my husband, well his arthritis keeps flairing up , he needs to go back on the sperm killing drug, and I think that its only fair to him to get him back on it before his health gets worse also. So if it doesnt work than we will just need to take a break.... We will see what happens... Bye for now.candihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16817044740383255450noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4596396557178808458.post-3729040465459972572009-02-19T12:19:00.001-08:002009-02-19T12:25:18.075-08:00Doing natural cycle this month!!Well, this month we have decided to try and do the natural thing, well I say natural as in noo Iui. Our hopes and dreams are to become parents. I have cystic fibrosis and also type 1 diabetes. This is causing me to have hostile cervical mucus. My husband has an inactive thyroid, his medicine has caused him to have a low sperm count. We have been delt a huge obstical I guess you could say. We have had two unsuccessfull IUI's medicated and are going to try for the third one next month. My husband has now been off the meds for about 3 months hoping that his sperm count will be back to normal for the next IUI.
