Great Strides WaLk

Hey everyone, as you all know , I have cystic fibrosis and I am walking in this years great strides walk at the kansas city location on May 2nd. I know that you all dont know me but I am needing all the help that I can get, Im not having the greatest luck with donations, even if it is only 5.00 anything would help. 5dp IUI

Well my temperatures have been staying higher every morning 98.3 and going up since Thursday morning, iui day. I have been pretty crampy even some cramps in my vaginal area, dont know if I have had this before or not. I cannot remember for sure. This two week wait is going to kill me. I have been peing alot but I think it could also be the hcg shot I did last Tuesday. I will keep you posted , but not much going on yet. Hopefully I will get my BFP soon. Scan results!!

My scan went well , I have three follies on the right side 11,12,14 mm and 1 good one on the left at 19.5mm.... I triggered last night being Tuesday night and iui is scheduled for Thursday morning at 745am. This is our last shot for a while, so I hope that 3rd time will be a charm. I had a really weird dream the other night, my grandma which I call my guardian angel passed away about 3 1/2yrs ago, well she came to me in my dream, never had this happen before, she just came towards me and held out her arms to hug me, I told her that I loved her and missed her, she said I have to go now. Maybe a sign???? maybe she came to help me, I asked her if she could please try and heal me of this infertilty, Only God knows. The two week wait will start tommorow, Im so excited but its going to be a long two weeks. Take care everyone!! Baby dust to you all that are trying. (((((hugss))))))

Well , the cyst is gone gone gone, woo hoo, I started femara on Tuesday (Ovary stimulator medication), and injections on Thursday of Menapur. I will go in on Tuesday for a scan of my ovaries to see how they look and schedule iui probally for wednesday or thursday.... yaaa keep your fingers crossed, I really hope that it works this time... I will keep you posted.

skipping iui again this month

Well, I found out that I had a cyst on my left ovary so the doctor doesnt want to stimulate my ovaries this month, said it could cause alot of pain due to the cyst.. I told him I dont mind the pain... plzzz let me be in pain, anything to get pregnant, well that didnt work at all in my favor. So they are puting me on birth control pills for two weeks to guarantee that the cyst will go away. They said that we could do the next iui right after easter.... GEEESHHH What else could go wrong. This is our 4th month now that we had to put off iui, the last one we did was back in november. Maybe this is a sign that my time is now here for me to finally conceive... Lets hope next month will be the month. This will be our last try for iui for now, our next step would be to save for ivf, which is almost impossible to save in a timely manner, I just want to get pregnant while my health is still doing pretty well, And as for my husband, well his arthritis keeps flairing up , he needs to go back on the sperm killing drug, and I think that its only fair to him to get him back on it before his health gets worse also. So if it doesnt work than we will just need to take a break.... We will see what happens... Bye for now.

Doing natural cycle this month!!

Well, this month we have decided to try and do the natural thing,well I say natural as in noo Iui. I started the femara and we are trying Pre seed for the first time. Have been going to the accupuncterist twice a week for about 2 months now, she has me on two herbal supplements, ovex and symplex f. Doing two teaspoons of robitussin three times a day . On days 5-14 of my cycle. Lets pray pray pray that maybe this will work. If not than next month we will try Iui number 3 with femara, follitism, and ovidrell shot..

The journey has just began!!!

Hello everyone, my name is Candi Lutjen, I am 32 yrs and have been married to my wonderful husband that is 36 yrs old since August 25th 2007. Our hopes and dreams are to become parents. I have cystic fibrosis and also type 1 diabetes. This is causing me to have hostile cervical mucus. My husband has an inactive thyroid, his medicine has caused him to have a low sperm count. We have been delt a huge obstical I guess you could say. We have had two unsuccessfull IUI's medicated and are going to try for the third one next month. My husband has now been off the meds for about 3 months hoping that his sperm count will be back to normal for the next IUI. (bless his heart)We tried femara and the one ovidrel shot the day before IUI. My follicles were all good and I produced two good ones two months ago. This time we are doing femara , follitism, and ovidrell. So please wish us luck and good luck to all you ladies out there trying... Im so glad that there is somewhere that we can come to so that we can vent and have some girly support!! Good luck everyone.... Baby dustttt to all...
